Hello Leonidas, it’s a pleasure to have you here today with us. How are you doing?

Hi, thank you very much for the opportunity to talk about me and my passion.

What’s your current mood? How do you handle the pandemic?

Unfortunately, these days are difficult for the music scene and especially for us DJs. We don’t have many options. The best thing we can do is keep working hard and doing what we love. I wish the situation to be better in the future. I am very optimistic about it.

Could you tell us about your track “Masonia”? Any particular mood or message you wanted to convey?

I produced “Masonia” in my studio in September 2020. It was a difficult period for me due to the pandemic and I gave what I had in my mind into this track. I don’t have any particular message to convey, I just dedicate my full energy to that project.

You started producing since you were 14. Do you still remember your first approach in production?

From a very young age, I was playing many different kinds of musical instruments and always had an interest in music production. I started in my early 14s producing Psychedelic Goa Trance as it influenced me. Artists like “The Muses Rapt’’ and “Astral Projection’’ inspired me a lot. I was not entirely sure where my sound was going. Over the years, my sound evolved into something more melodic and melancholic style of electronic music. I tend to produce music that takes the listeners on a journey somewhere in between space, time, and their desires.

What’s your process like in the studio?

It’s hard to define how exactly is the process but for me, there is no recipe and sometimes I feel like everything comes to me very easily, and occasionally it simply doesn’t, which could be frustrating when you are dealing with deadlines. But I can’t just rush to end a track because it needs to grow at its own pace to be good. I just try being calm and creative.

Your bass lines are dynamic and well-crafted. What synths do you use for your bass lines?

I love my bass lines to be dynamic and to have a main character. I usually use synths like Hive, Diva, LennarDigital Sylenth1 and Dune3.

Could you share one of your most favorite audio mixing techniques?

First of all, I believe that to create a good mix you have to be patient. Have exactly in your mind what do you want to achieve for the best result. I prefer to use the FabFilter mixing bundle and Neutron for mixing techniques.

Do you pay a lot of attention to what’s popular in the music scene?

Sure, I try paying attention to the current music scene as electronic music is evolving gradually. I have to be honest, I’m quite an obsessed clubber, I try to attend and listen to as many interesting artists as I can.

Finally, if you could collaborate with one musician, who would it be?

I really appreciate many artists and I would love to collaborate with them in the future.
Some of them are: Coeus, Solee and Wurtz.
