Cesare vs Disorder debuts on Suleiman Records

|

Cesare versus Disorder is a respected producer recognized for his analogue style of stripped back house, breakbeat, and minimal music, and his new release is out on the Suleiman label.

His respected back catalogue includes tracks and remixes on labels such as Ninja Tune/Big Dada, Cocoon, BPitch Control, Transmat, Crosstown Rebels, and Watergate Records, to name a few. He’s also a superb composer of film and television music, blending cinematic themes with dance floor percussion and funk-fueled basslines to create unique tunes that are full of personality.

Speaking about the EP, the two-step groove of “Automatic Window” is defined by a UK garage-inspired bassline with powerful sub-bass and brooding intensity, which is complemented with ambient vocal textures. A squelching acid bassline is combined with a bleeping melody and an array of hallucinogenic soundscapes interwoven with the gliding tones of a futuristic pad in “Just A Couple Hrs“. “Peruibe” is a dreamy downtempo experimental piece with dubby textures soaked in delay and melodies reminiscent of Nathan Fake. Shuffling rhythms and a forceful offbeat hi-hat give the framework for an eerie flute sound that develops an underlying tension appropriate for the dance floor in “Shanghai – São Paulo“.
