An audience member, who has since been arrested, threw a cellphone at her while she was on stage in New York.

American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha was performing at New York’s Rooftop at Pier 17 on June 18 as part of her ‘Best F’n Night of My Life’ tour when someone from the audience threw a phone at her, knocking her to the ground and leaving her with a bruised eye.

The following day, Bebe Rexha took to social media to show the injury while also assuring fans that she was okay. She captioned two photos of her bruised eye with “Im good.” The caption seemingly references David Guetta‘s viral remix of Eiffel 65‘s song “Blue (Da Ba Dee’s), which was titled “Im Good (Blue)” and featured Rexha’s vocals.

Rexha was rushed off the stage and to the hospital following the assault, where she received treatment including stitches.

The attacker, who was arrested at the concert, was later identified as 27-year-old Nicolas Malvagna of Manalapan, N.J. He confessed to throwing the phone and is facing two counts of assault, one count for aggravated harassment and one count for attempted assault.

It appears that Rexha will continue her Best F*n Night Of My Life Tour throughout the US until the first of July. Upcoming US shows include those at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, The Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Tabernacle in Atlanta, and the Hard Rock Live Orlando in Orlando, Florida. She is set to embark on the European leg starting July 28.

Unfortunately, Rexha’s incident is not unheard of and multiple artists have had to deal with items being thrown at them from audience members. Famously, Kid Cudi left the stage during his Rolling Loud set last summer due to numerous audience members throwing various objects at him. Additionally, Lady Gaga sparked attention after an object was mysteriously blocked from hitting her stage, leading people to guess that she has an invisible force field protecting her and her team.
