The dynamic new song ‘Jogging on the Moon’ produced by Sydney-based Lamalo and featuring English vocalist Amber Prothero is out today. This is a preview of their eagerly awaited EP, which is to be released later this year.

Jogging on the Moon‘ is an outstanding fusion of expertly produced house music, and it begins with thudding kick drums and a rhythmic synth bottom. Amber’s mesmerizing lead vocals are introduced right away in the song, and the instrumentation dynamically moves around her melodies to create a kaleidoscope of heavenly energy. Electronic and organic components combine to create a focused, unstoppable descent.

The song is about losing yourself to mindless jobs and the monotony of working life. We set the song in the future because we thought it would be interesting to explore a sentiment that is so common now in a fantastical setting such as the moon.
