Magit Cacoon returns to Renaissance Records with a new single ‘Bad Habit’ alongside Alphadog.

Magit Cacoon, a renowned DJ and producer, has gained global recognition for her success in the underground dance music scene. Boasting an extensive discography of releases on some of the industry’s leading labels, Magit now teams up with fellow countryman Alphadog. Together, they release their collaboration, ‘Bad Habit‘, on Renaissance Records today, July 5th.

Magit Cacoon is a name that needs no introduction, as mentioned. The DJ has worked with Renaissance before, as well as with other labels including Crosstown Rebels, Ipso, and Watergate. Additionally, she has a host of releases on her highly-respected label, Mago Music. Alphadog, on the other hand, marks his debut with Renaissance. He has been released on various labels including Diynamic, Kinetika, Zamna, and Maccabi, and has also been supported by artists like Solomun, Tale Of Us, and Innellea. Furthermore, One World Radio picked him as one of the ‘Future Four’ rising stars of Tomorrowland in 2023.

‘Bad Habit’ is a super-creative track, that takes influence from a multitude of genres. Techno, melodic, breaks, and a smidgen of on-trend hip-house are the principal building blocks. This results in an ideal candidate for any peak-time set. Plus, in a moment of ever-kind conscientiousness, Magit and Alphadog also present the track as a ‘voxless’ version—electronica purists do not need to worry!
