British DJ and producer Syncia drops his new single, “Another One,” on the freshly launched imprint Famous When Dead. The label, founded by UK house DJ and producer CASH ONLY, celebrates its first official release today.

Matt Cosway, better known as Syncia, has been making waves in the music scene over the past couple of years. From topping Beatport and Traxsource charts to performing at major events like Sónar, Secret Garden Party, and WMC—he’s also held residencies at London’s Club 338 and Pikes Ibiza, sharing the stage with Groove Armada, Eats Everything, Todd Terry, Faithless, DJ EZ, and Melé.

On “Another One,” Syncia delivers more than just another club track. The moment the main synths kick in, things take an interesting turn. A heavy beat follows, building an unreal vibe that pulls listeners in.

While the mix isn’t overloaded with elements, the track still hits hard. “I was listening to and making a lot of basement-inspired house—raw and loud. I tried to use as few elements as possible and get the most out of them,” Matt shares.

Speaking on the creative process, he adds, “I programmed the drums from old samples, processed them, lots of clipping.”

This summer, Syncia is set to make his debut at England’s Camp Bestival in Dorset, followed by his return to the Back To Mine residency at Pikes Ibiza.
