For their catchy summer tune, “Kinda Funny,” the LA-based, Vancouver-born duo Young Bombs hook up with YouTube phenom Audrey Mika. Following their recent single “U Up?” with Stondon Massey and the Gold certification of their previous song “Better Day,” starring Aloe Blacc, comes their newest pop-infused offering. The music is a perfect addition to the soundtrack of any summer party thanks to the catchy chorus and excellent production. Sony Music Canada has released “Kinda Funny” on all streaming services as of right now.

The song ‘Kinda Funny‘ has an unstoppable beat and combines deep dance music with contemporary pop elements. The song begins with a hypnotic vocal cut and builds into a gripping production as it is accompanied by a catchy rhythm and a thundering bassline. Audrey Mika’s light vocals serve as the song’s focal point and are the ideal complement to the fast-paced production. For the song’s lyrics, Young Bombs collaborated with writers Deza (Elio, Zara Larsson, MOTi) and Rollo (Dixie, Charli XCX, Noah Cyrus), who expertly depict the emotional intricacies of breaking up with someone. Their most recent joint party anthem is an exciting rollercoaster from beginning to end that will get dance floors moving this summer.
