Son d’Étroit boss Boran Ece is progressively developing his own sound palette by merging a plethora of diverse influences. He is becoming known for his laid-back house music.

After launching the primary label in early 2021 and inviting remixers like Hannes Bieger and Mihai Popoviciu, he now debuts a second project that is completely dedicated to his original works. The Basel-based DJ and producer introduces SDE Digital, with the first EP arriving at the end of July as he releases three new productions across his ‘Woodward Avenue‘ EP. He plans to release a new EP every six weeks.

Post Soul‘, the EP’s opening track, is a vocal-driven slice of resonant house driven by dubby stabs and sharp percussion. ‘Jazz Club‘, combines rich keys with hazy chords, low-slung bass, and additional soulful vocal work. As the play comes to a conclusion, ‘Riverwalk‘ takes things even further into the nighttime realms with gloomy pads, sharp drums, and echoed samples.

On July 29, 2022, Boran Ece’s “Woodward Avenue” EP will be released on SDE Digital.
